Though strictly speaking, paying attention to all that transpires in DX2 will ruin some of the conspiracy elements in DX1...but hey. :D

I'll live...
Besides, even WHILE playing the game and talking to some people I occasionally think "wtf are these people talking about again?"
In this second run I started paying closer attention, but there's still some kind of weird brainwashing mind-leeching effect to listening to The Order's bantering...
Either way, by the time I actually FIND DX1 somewhere (if ever) I'll have long forgotten what IW was about anyway... well, maybe I'll remember some tiny specs, but I doubt it'd seriously ruin the experience for me...

I envy anyone who hasn't played DX yet, I wish I could erase my memory of it...THEN PLAY IT OVER AGAIN!
and erase my memory of it...THEN PLAY IT OVER AGAIN!
That my friends would be as close to heavan as I can imagine.

I wouldn't want to forget my first time through the first DX.
I wasn't even playing, but it's a great game for a backseat driver.

Apply a massive amount of blunt force to the back of your cranium...
should have the desired effect...
(side effects may include death, coma, internal bleeding, blunt force trauma, total amnesia, permanent brain damage, and a random drop of IQ by 60%...)

Or suppress the memories through hypno-therapy...
Just a random thought that popped into my head... I get like that sometimes...
