He's now seeking cash handouts from western countries, disguised as compensation claims, which he will use to import western women who are more forthcoming with skirts above the ankle.

Even ignoring the quality of their argument, this is really silly because it assumes that if, say, the USA reduces oil consumption, other countries won't pick up the slack. If the USA doesn't buy it, China and India likely will.

...and not only is demand increasing with India and China growing fast, but supply is decreasing anyway. Which means price per unit is going to go through the roof and Saudi Arabia has us over a, err, barrel. I don't see that they have problem. I do smell a rat.

Actually it is unknown how much oil Saudi Arabia has. I have a book that infers that the oil supply in Saudi Arabia is actually very low due to the fact that it has been so heavily produced (Twilight in the Desert). Fairly technical, but it is worth a read... from an insider in the business who has studied various things for quite a while to come up with his conclusions.
