Shouldn't the T stand for Tasty? Or at least that's how I've heard it.

Hi, New Horizon from the Thief community here.
I have some friends who are competing to be guests on Pete Tongs show. They're a couple of talented local DJ's and it would be really great if they were able to win a lucky break like this.
If you have a second to help out and vote, I would appreciate it.
Go here... (
http://www.fasttrax.tv) and vote for 03. Jakt & Jeff Math 'Mules'
There's a widget at the bottom.
If you care not to vote blindly, they have a myspace with music samples. (

Thanks for the help!

Hippies are right again! And the good news for everyone is that there are food suppliers who don't treat their animals like this.
It sounds like a NorCal thing to be able to have that option in the first place. The only thing that comes half-way close to it we have down here is Trader Joe's, and there's still no guarantee that their pork chops didn't have broom handles stuck in their vaginas before they got shrink-wrapped. Honestly, I'd have no qualms about eating synthetic meat, provided 1) safe consumption is established and 2) it doesn't taste like inedible crap. As it is now, however, it's easier just not to think about this kind of shit.

Some vocations bring the worst out of people ... war, meat handling, prostitution, narcotics ... and regulation or bans have their limits in improving that behavior, although they're necessary too. You have to make sure the regulation is enforced, and it's even better when you can get market forces pushing on your side and consumers start making demands, but that's even harder.
Hard problems, but I think they're some of the good fights we're supposed to be fighting.
