Well, i really like to watch something interesting (duh) when i'm too lazy to do anything sensible or not having hands free (digging food!!). Usually having hard time finding anything watchable though :(
Today i just so happened to timely find something much preferable than the usual garbage:
~hour of "(
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ImvlS8PLIo) A universe from nothing" by Lawrence Krauss.
Theme: Universe(s), starstuff, dark matter, dark energy and some strings might also be involved. Mixed with a whole lot of nothing. Refreshingly dumbed down and understandable - with jokes and all. Although the speech was spawned from religious issues (Dawkins activity) that are often referenced therein, it does not considerably hinder the presentation of the interesting stuff. Highly recommended.
Interesting / thought provoking - sure - but i'm not really interested (but don't let me stop you ;)) in discussing it. Instead, i'm fishing for more.
Know some scientific + lengthy + considerably simplified + non-boringly presented lectures / speeches you would like to share? I know there are tons of lecture hall kind of providers of one sort or another around - but finding from them something that wont bore the living shit out of you within the first minutes is troublesome.

A bit too much entertainmentish (well, National Geographic, what can you expect) for my liking - but ok (filled my dinning time quite nicely, thanks).
