I'm still waiting for the invitation to come over and knock up someone's daughter.

haha. I submit to you all the word "fly" which is so variable in English on either side of the pond that it can mean:
the closure in a pair of trousers/pants
a winged insect
a lightweight covering
a small, 2-wheeled carriage
quick movement
movement though the air
the space above a stage
a fishing lure
movement of a struck baseball
"cool" or "hip"
to release arrows or other projectiles
"clever" or "sly"
"sexy"
There are probably more, but you get the idea.

You should totally write a story which employs all those different uses of the word fly ;)
Pete woke up that morning feeling pretty fly. He zipped up the fly on his trousers, opened the fly of his tent, and peered outside. A fly buzzed around the remains of yesterday's meal, still lying where he left it the previous night. He glanced at his watch; no time to ponder the local fauna, he thought - it was time for him to fly.
