Well, isn't that just fucking dandy? It's not just those powers that won't work, it's every God damn Psi power that's not cryo- or pyrokinesis. This is going to be real fun.

I never used the PSI amp much, so to me that wouldn't be a big loss. Though invisibility and soma transference make the brain room in BotM very easy.

The lack of PSI is only in the Engineering level right? If you can be sneaky and good at running, you can get through it alive, at least sort of alive. :p

Sounds like a nightmare. Might be worth cheating yourself some cyber modules to get some weapon proficiencies if it's completely broken psi for you.
Or seeing if someone has a save file at a similar point in the game.

I have one from around there, in fact from when the same thing happened to me.
The save is from just before going into engineering, where things are a bit messed up since it's been reset. It is playable, though.
Psi-only. No weapons of any kind or weapon skills. Impossible difficulty.
