There's also a lot of rumours swirling around that GRRM was going to announce book 5's release at a conference that just passed however he fell sick before Christmas and ended up in hospital, so he publicly retracted the upcoming announcement... I'd need to re-read those bastards if he did, I can barely remember half the intrigue and subplots. Hopefully all the writing and rewriting he's done have given him material for most of 2 books and we won't have a 5 year wait for the next one.
