ENDINGS... please help! *SPOILERS* - by Axon1988

I found 3 endings so far, correct me if Im wrong but there should be 7 endings right? So where is the rest? How do I get to them?
1. I got the normal ending, with the wish granter.
2. The other two endings were both of c-concious.
Im not going to go into detail here, dont want to spoil it for those that still havent got them.
And something else, help me here, Ive travelled everywhere in the game but there's a couple of places you cant get in, like say just before the brain scorcher there is a turn off into what looks like a bunker, there were some duty guys there if I remember correctly.
Maybe you guys know of some other secret locations that you wont find easily...

The other endings are also with Wish-granter but they depend on what you did in the game (if you have lots of money, you'll get one ending, if you killed some important NPC, you'll get another ending and so on). You can read about it on (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalker_(computer_game)) Stalker's wiki page. But the endings with the C-Consciousness are the real endings.
About that bunker before brain scorcher, you can't go in there, I guess it was cut from the game like many other things.

Cool thanks... I thought so.
But is there any really nice secret places? I wish there were some more open spaced maps where you can just run around and loot and kill...

I think the best area for that is 1.004+ Wild Territory after X16 :sly:

I dunno dude. I had a stash in wild territory, in a safe behind a tree right after the sniper's nest, and it was so much trouble to maintain it. The train yard is fine, but the respawn rate is way too crazy at the entrance.
After clearing out the premise, I'm managing my stash, suddenly guy comes around and shoots me. I'm dragging a body to the stash, pseudo dog pounces and scratches me. That's not all, some parts of stalker's just really odd and amateurish. What's with the true ending being triggered by a bonfire? That's just weird.
The good is so good, and the bad, oh boy do the bad stick out.

True Ending being trigged by a bonfire? What do you mean?
Axon1988 on 11/9/2008 at 17:50
I really dont know about any bonfire triggering the true ending, by the way the true ending is actually 2 endings... You get a choice talking to that guy from CC...
Yes: You join them
No: You dont...
Easy as pie.
Where's the bonfire? Anyway so guys the wild territory is okay I like the warehouses more... I hate cordon... But the dark valley is also cool

What? :weird: You mixed up something...

NVM it wasn't a fire, just another portal in a hole at the end that triggers the kill c-consciousness cinematic. Either way it ended things abruptly and felt tacked on. I was actually expecting to reach somewhere/something, not end on a disappointing note.

The whole level is bonus. Most people finished STALKER at wishgranter, (huge) optional level is rarity in modern games, even if it's linear and ends rather abruptly.
