End Game. What did I do wrong?

I collected Sunder and Keening, confronted Dagoth Ur, destroyed the Heart, was attacked by Dagoth Ur and killed him and fled the Heart area as it was destroyed by an earthquake. But nobody seems to recognize this. When I returned to Vivec he just told me the same things as before, same with the Wise Woman of the Urshilaku. Still Sleepers around as well. If this is all there is I'm a liitle dissapointed. Where is the Ticker Tape Parade for the conquering hero. What did I do wrong? I used Divine Intervention to leave Dagoth Ur's Tower once I was done, was that a mistake.
Also, no one ever did explicitly send me on the Sixth and Seventh Trials or explain what I was to do (other then Vivec's Plan to Defeat Dagoth Ur).

Boy he was the easiest enemy to defeat in the whole game. No damage to my character at all. The thing that's really disappointing was no ending movie. :confused:

Heh, that's what I did the first time.... Used gate or whatever in dagoth Ur's little house.

However:

[SPOILER]STFU FATTASS THIS IS A SPOILER FORUM!!![/SPOILER]

The door you entered to get into Ur's home opens again, and you run out.

You meet that hoebag azura again, and she does a little slut dance of joy, complete with sparkly crap.

Then you get this happy little cutscene saying, "OMG, you saved our planet! How can we thank you! No, I don't do that, not on the first date." etc etc

Then all the shmucks you see say, "omg, you're so badass, I don't know how to act in front of someone as badass as thou... or thee..."

Well, that's how I remember it.

Why did they tell you to takd the Divine Intervention amulet with you then ? Seems silly to tell you that if they are going to place her in front of the entrance door.

Vivec told you to recall or divine intervention if you were about to die and lose the weapons to dagoth ur... it actually has nothing to do with what your supposed to do, just trying to make the chain of events seem realistic.
