Hey all, it has been a while since I posted. My X Box was in the repair shop. But now I am back and I was wondering if anyone can tell me, if I have a VERY low enchantment skill, like 10, and then I enchant an item at the mages guild or wherever, will I not be able to use the item every try? Thanks in advance

ya can but the charge points(the red bar) will be used up very quickly meanin ya ill be able to use the enchanted spell a couple of times but able to use the weapon/item still
when ya level up ya enchant skill this increases ya chances of gettin higher points(if the spell is 1-4 etc.) and decreases the charge use
for example ya said that ya enchant level is 10, if I enchanted an iron longsword with the enchantment of fireball 1-5pts on strike and a charge of 100
I'll do the damage that the iron longsword can do + the 1-5pts which will be about 2pts but since enchant is at 10 I've used half my charge meanin I can only use it again and wait til it recharges
now if my enchant is at 100, I would do the damage that the longsword does + the damage of the spell which will be 5pts and I haven't used as much charge
I dunno if this is right but that's how I understand it, hope this helps ya

yep... the charge u spend by each use decreases as your enchantment skill increases. so if the full charge is 100, u spend (lets say) 10 charges to use it if your enchantment skill is low, and you can use it spending 5 charges when u get used to enchantments.
and of course your skill increases as u use enchantments...
i'm not sure if your chance increases while using items that doesn't have a specific effect. (like "fire damage 10-30"...) if so, your chance to get higher damage points increases as your skill increasses... i'm not sure but it should be... but it's never guaranteed as it 's calculated by chance. so for the damage points, your "luck" must be more effective...
also if you run out of charge too frequently, u can carry some extra trapped souls to charge them. just drag and drop it on you like equippin it. and it asks u if u want to recharge or enchant an item.... ( i wouldn't try the last one with 10skill points, because it will be a failure)
