Please answer these few questions for a newb.
-How to enchant? Do you need gem? Does the weapon/armor already has to be magikal to be enchanted? Can you use the gem more than once? Can you fail in enchanting and destroy the gem?
-Where could I find good armor and magic blunt weapon? Im lvl 10 Orc warrior. Is my level good enough to explore dwemer ruins on Red Mountain?

How to enchant?
Drag a soul gem onto your character. A messege box would come up asking you if you want to recharge an item or to create an enchanted item. Choose to create, and the enchanting interface would come up. Click on the item slot and choose the item you want to enchant. The soul slot let you select the soul gem you want to use. The list on the left shows all the effects you currently know and can put on your item, while the one on the right shows all the effects that you would like on the item. There are 3 numbers on the top right hand corner. One shows the enchant rating of the effects you are trying to enchant, and the maximum enchant rating the item can hold. One shows the amount of charges used per cast and one shows the amount of soul the gem contain, and would determine the maximum charge of your item.

Yes.
Does the weapon/armor already has to be magikal to be enchanted?
Magical items cannot be enchanted.
Can you use the gem more than once?
Only the Azura Star.
Can you fail in enchanting and destroy the gem?
Absolutely.

I have been able to enchant papers with minor versions of spells using soul gems, (it only has a total of "1" for enchantment room) but has anyone ever made a scroll? is it even possible in the game?

no in game scroll making came with the game, but at (
www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind) there are some mods that let u make them

Would it be worthwhile to enchant a silver crossbow ( i can kill most things in 1 shot , some things in 2 and very few things in 3 ), if so what should i use to enchant it with?

My favourite weapon enchantment is Absorb Health. Cheaper than the elemental damage and heals in the process. I used a Grand Soul Gem with a Winged Twilight to enchant a Ebony Long Sword with absorb health 20+ to 30+ pts on strikes.

What is the most powerful soul to capture? Until now it's for me the golden saint (Scroll of summon golden saint on self is quite useful for that), is there a more powerful creature? What is best to trap in Azuras Star?

I believe you can trap Vivec's soul in the Azura Star.
