I enchanted a longbow with fire damage on strike, but it never seems to activate (and charges are never used). I tried making another with damage on target rather than touch, but that doesn't seem to work either. How do you enchant a bow so that it works?
On an unrelated note, what's that yellow bar that sometimes appears above my health? It appears to be related to knockdown, but how?

Well, it's the arrows that hit, not the bow so I'm sure thats the problem with the bow. So you'll have to enchant arrows which I tjink have a really low enchant valeu. So bethsoft AoE arrow mod is a good bet. You can also (If you have PC version) use to CS to make your own.
The yellow bar is the enemys health.
