My question is about Oblivion, sorry for that but it seems Oblivion thread is dead.
I have Enchanted Items, with them, my destruction skills reach over 100. But I can't make a destruction spell requires 100 destruction, it says me my destruction skills are too low. So what is the point to carry enchanted items? Is this a glitch or what?

There is (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=140) an Oblivion forum, you know. It's easier to notice new posts in otherwise "dead" forums anyway. :p

Raising skills by magic only makes the effect of the skill stronger, it won't qualify you for any perks related to that skill (e.g. the bonuses you get for 25/50/75/100%), because your actual skill level hasn't changed.

I know, and I posted something else there for a while ago. And there is no new entry since then. That's why I said Oblivion thread is dead and decide to post that here.
Anyway, thanks for the info, it really helps. :)
