Hello guys, Im new on this forum.
I have download the Enchancement pack for change objects textures from Thief 1, Gold, 2.
I have change textures for T2, but I have a problem for Thief Gold!
I have do all what the ''read me'' file said. (Manually and Quickly) Ive past 3 hours to try to change theses textures but Ive failed.
This is the line on install.cfg:
resname_base .\EP\Thief1+.\EP+
The installEP.BAT have write it. Is not me this time. ;)
I have check on dark.cfg, and the two lines ( ObjTextures16
MeshTextures16 + the empy line at the end. ) and is ok! But the texture is the same, no change. :(
Strangly, on Thief 2 The metal age, the is work verry good, and I have do the same thing for TG... (Clik on instalEG.BAT) Strange huh?
Someone can explain me what is the problème? Or simply help me with a better explaination?

Make sure that EP.crf is in your main Thief directory, it should be 18.1MB.

All is in the directory. ;)
I told you: Ive past more that 3 hours to try to fin d the problem...
Maybe is the foxation for the FG? Is it obligatory if I dont play with Fan missions? If yes, tell me exaclty what to do pleaze. ;)
Remember, my problem is for Thief Gold. ;)

Have you optimised the installation with Darkloader?

Back up your existing install.cfg and unzip these into your directory.

Extract that with WinRAR or 7-Zip.
You may need to copy over the contents from your CD's MOVIE subdirectory to your hard drive's equivalent, if said contents isn't identical.

I have Darkloader, but I dont know how to do that. He said ''Select at least one mission to continue'' but I dont download Fan missions, and I dont understand.
And what Im supposed to do with your file? I have extract install.cfg and what I do with the other file named ''permanent mods'' ? :confused:
I have copied all the files and still not work. Srage, with T2, intallEP.bat have do all, and all is working, but no with TG.
Ah eh: My EP.cfg do 18.578 Mo. Is it normal? :0

try changing resname_base .\EP\Thief1+.\EP+ to resname_base .\EP\Thief1+.\EP+full path to your thief folder\res
im my case,the complete line looks like this (with C:\Games\Thief - The Dark Project being the full path to my thief files):
resname_base .\EP\Thief1+.\EP+C:\Games\Thief - The Dark Project\res
the pack didnt work for me unless I edited it like that.

Still nothing. :(
What can be the problem? I have copied all the files from the CD to goods place. (Sure that all is good)
Remember, I have Thief GOLD not TDP. ;)

ok,one more try.restore your install.cfg to its original state,edit it and type in full paths for all the files.that means if your thief location is
C:\Games\Thief - The Dark Project\,then all the
.\ should be changed to
C:\Games\Thief - The Dark Project\.install EP after that and see what happens.
I have thief gold as well,my install.cfg:

My install.cfg is exact;y the same that yours, but with a little difference.:

My Thief Gold directory is in C:\ThiefG
And.. Just a question, what do the
res after EP+C:\ThiefG ???
Is it a folder is relation with EP? If yes,
res is not in ThiefG directory!
