Some of you may already know ENBseries, the mind-boggling graphics enhancement made mostly for GTA: San Andreas.
Well, just today Boris Vorontsov posted first screenshots (with comparison pics) of a work-in-progress version for Deus EX!

Looks like it screws up the interface more than anything else. Also, the shots are so low res, why didn't he just combine them into one image so we can see them side by side? And that last comparison shot ... isn't a comparison.

Easy there, easy. The interface is something that's probably going to get sorted out pretty quick. These are WORK IN PROGRESS shots. And the last two aren't supposed to be comparison shots, both are done with ENB.
As for the res, I don't know why he's doing that, it's the same with his GTA screenshots. Trust me, with a decent config file for ENB, San Andreas looks absolutely gorgeous. That's the most beautiful thing about ENBseries, by the way - it's fully configurable, there's separate settings for each of the multiple effects.

I guess it's only a work in progress as you say but theat doesn't look like much of an improvement

Actually, this mod seems to be addressing one of my biggest complaints about the Unreal Tournament Engine that Deus Ex is based on: the low-res lightmaps. One of the reasons why Quake 3 looked so much better than UT in 1999 was that it had much smoother shadows, better lighting contrast, and richer colors.
Considering the crucial role well-done lighting plays in the already stellar level design of Deus Ex... This mod would justify a replay in my eyes.

Looks really strange but still something to keep an eye on, I take it it's more renderer-oriented so it won't really conflict with HDTP.

I'm guessing this is something that hooks into DX's render path, kind of like DDFix.
Speaking of HDTP, why don't those guys ever post over here? It's weird.

I think this very early wip shots.
