Hey guys first post :D
I'm trying to enable the mods with System Shock 2, however when I open the install.cfg file to edit that one line I encouter a problem..
I'm soppose to rename c:\games\shock2\+d:\shock2\ to c:\games\shock2\res\+d:\shock2\
However the line in my folder looks like this :resname_base C:\Sshock2+C:\
Can someone post what the line should be changed to so I can play some of these mods?

Looks like you installed from your harddrive (C).
Try changing that line to:
resname_base C:\Sshock2\RES+C:\
Probably you can leave out the "+C:\" part at the end.
Alternatively use this (

I think it is neccesary to have the +C:\ at the end, but replace the C with the correct disc drive letter.

That isn't so hard, the first post of the troubleshoot thread at the top covers quite a few of the generic issues. And use the search feature if you want to dig into those 700+ replies for further help. :p

The CD was damaged, and Windows could not access it, so TehChozenTwo extracted the files to the C drive with IsoBuster... and installed it from there.

That's what I was implying. And since his C:\Installer probably won't work as a CD substitute he might as well leave out the +C:\ part.
