well. went to the mall, and there's this crappy little store where they trade/sell/buy games and stuff. so i saw a copy of Ultima Underworld 1 & 2 (a bundle) so i bought it (the price? 1$ so damn cheap).
anyway. got home. installed it and well, cant play it. this is is the message i get:
Cannot run Underworld
Out of EMS memory. Error code C001
i looked at the "how to run" faq over at the stygian site, but that doesnt really help.
if you know what is going on, please help me. im desperate. :(
p.s - im pretty sure this might had been said before and stuff...im too lazy to look for the thread and stuff. :)

If you hit the search button (and remember to set the forum selector to this one; it doesn't do that automatically), and then enter some appropriate terms (such as the error message), you'll hopefully find what you need.
As a general recommendation for trying to run old games on new systems, it's important to tell us what operating system you're running (in particular) as well as other hardware details (video card & sound card can be important). Generally there'll be enough memory and such, but the newer OSs can be rather uncooperative, and it's very hard to offer any help if we don't know what kind of system you're trying to run the game on.
