That's a shame. Yeah, since a new Thief game was never formally announced, the chances of it are slim now.

I was hoping the recent System Shock game might have inspired a new Thief remake in the same vein. Maybe this will make it easier for another group to try and negotiate a deal to use the IP?

Well, at least we all can wait for the full version of Gloomwood, and that is as close as we can get in terms of steam punk stealth.

anyone know the cost of the thief i.p.??? i am interested in getting thief 1/g/2/3 rights or should i wait 20-30 more years when its cheaper :P
