yes, yes i know theres probably a lot of threads with this type of thing but i don't care :cheeky:
what has been an embarrissing moment for your character?
my top three have to be:
1. looking everywhere in Molag Mar in and around Mt Kand looking for that damn Silver Staff of Shaming . . . . for many, many real-time hours . . . .then finding it on top of the hill :tsktsk:
2. looking in on the fight between dwemer bots and things in the massive Dwemer halls under the Plaza. My character thought it'd be great to jump (literally) right in and fight everyone. This was of corse before 3 or 4 archer bots fired bolt arrows with something like 50 damage AND 50 shock :(
- my body didnt even reach the ground before i was dead -
3. thinking what a great idea it would be to attack Amalexia in her temple, while shes surrounded by her hands - whack, whack, rejuvenation spell - flashes - dead

1. Getting lost (for several real-time hours, mind you) trying to walk from Sedya Neen to Balmora when I first started the game.
2. Spending about, oh, 5 real-time hours total searching every inch of the first Dwenmer ruin for that &$#@* Puzzle Box.
3. Quickloading 34 times to see how come I'd screwed up my talk with the Naked Nord in Tribunal.
4. See above, but substitute "Gaenor" for "Naked Nord."
5. Almost writing Bethesda to complain about a bug in their game, cause I couldn't find the Telvanni Vault, only some damn room with 2 Storm Atronachs.
6. Constantly, CONSTANTLY thinking that just because I manage to Sneak up on an enemy and engage a conversation, eventually raising their disposition to 100, that they won't attack me immediately after I disengage.

1) My 1st time thru, after getting the "escort this mensch" quest from the Balmora Mage Guild, I spent about an hour trekking over every hill and dale (literally, over mountains) with the yellow bugger on my hells, looking desperately for Pelagiad... because I didn't know how to use the in-game map. :o
2) Recently, I spent a good long while trying to 'Frenzy Humanoid' the Orc in Satrith Mora w/ a Sanguine item. I cast my usual custom 50-pt version on him, and nothing happened. Taken aback, I went and got a 100-pt version for 2 sec.. and he still wouldn't attack me. It was only after I talked with him and found that he was at 100% happiness with me that I realised what was wrong... so I Taunted him once, backed off, and finally was able to Frenzy him into attacking me. :p

1) Accidently picking things up with my Hat that had Telekinesis ten feet away, then having the entire Fort Moonmoth Legion after me.
2) Preforming Tarhiel's Jump across Morrowind, and meeting the same fate as him.

After gotten hang of the game I spent my time a lot quickloading as I trained my sneaking skills all the time and forgot to release the button when engaging people in conversations.

I don't know if this counts, but I went to Solsthiem to start the mainquest. I soon realized I left something way back in Balmora and didn't have a save to restore from. I didn't want to take the time to go all the way back the normal way, so I (temporarily) set my acrobatics and my speed really high. I got to Balmora in no time, picked up what I needed and got ready to leave. But I made a... small.. mistake when I set my acrobatics. It's funny what one more zero can do ^.^ After a few seconds I cleared Vvardenfell all together and still hadn't reached the peak of my jump. I have reason to believe I actually reached the 'limit' on the sky, if it's possible. Everything started flashing... I had to reload >.<

Wow! I believe that you had ascended and joined the ranks of the immortal ones in Oblivion. You should have waited for Molag bal to come and tell you your his new second in command and you could have fought Sheograth for the honour of hitting on Azura ;)

I'd hit on her anyway ^.^ Yeah, I kinda hung out in the sky, travelling at the speed of sound and wondering if I'd started falling back down yet. But after a while I got bored... Molag Bal took too long to show up. Always trust gods to be late.

1. In the beginning i constantly tried to keep my fatigue bar high enough by stopping before continuing to run.
2. Took me a while to figure out how to load arrows.
