Light Gem, which he says is not binary. He seems to be saying that the surface affects it too, but it's not clear. If I heard it right, it's okay in my opinion.
He also says focus is optional and you can complete the game without it and it can be disabled. That's a relief.
I don't like those messages that appear saying which location the player is in. Hopefully they can be turned off.
He explained why arrows disappear on impact!
Health does not automatically regenerated.
They have dogs! That'll make things interesting.
Garrett seemed to use the crowbar to help him climb. Interesting.
Rope arrows make a welcome return.
The crowbar is a good addition.
The objective mentioned a hidden room and checking the library for clues. He mentioned that Garrett got some info beforehand, so that's okay, although I'd prefer it to be left to me to think of such things.
He also mentioned searching for clues and picking up the backstory, which is also good.
He hinted that there was something mystical but they wanted to keep the game grounded. A shame because I liked that element, even though I didn't like the undead.
No burricks! Too late for a petition.
So I'm now cautiously optimistic, but I still think the bungled their PR because a lot of the above could have been made clear much earlier. Plus, the hands will be very annoying, and I hope that Garrett's newfound love of stealing is some sort of marketing hype and doesn't impact on the game.

And hey, while we are at it, we can finally just flush Stephen right down the drain! :ebil:
In my day, the sinners had no second chance. They were dispatched forthwith to explain their misdeeds to their builder.

OK, there was some pretty cool stuff in that recent video, much better than the one from yesterday:
-Lightgem confirmed, non-binary visibility system confirmed. He explained that while the light gem shows how visible your are, The Shroud deals with your transition between areas - didn't quite understand that part.
-Focus completely optional, can be disabled.
-Objectives: I saw 1) Lift All The Loot 2) No Kills Or KOs 3) Remain Undetected. Sounds great.
-Surface you walk on factors into whether you are detected or not.
-Health and Focus do not auto-regenerate.
-Even if you play aggressive, you still have to be careful because you're not a warrior. In other words, you can't just play as a tank for the whole level.
-XP - measures "how good the player is" - didn't really understand that part either. No mention of upgrading skills.
-Rope arrows are separate from the grappling hook. And you remain in first-person while on a rope (!)
-A lot of the indicators from yesterdays demo were gone, no red dots by AI, guards who were alerted didn't have "suspicious" over their heads, etc.
-You can create sounds with your weapons as a diversionary tactic.
Trying to focus (yuk, yuk) on the good stuff this time around, that's not to say some of the other stuff wasn't still in there. But this look a little more promising - they probably should have started with this vid instead of the one we saw yesterday.
Edit: looks like R Soul beat me to the punch, but I'll leave these comments anyway...

Now that appeared quite promising to me. It certainly looks the part.
There was a lot to like in that. A lot. I'm not so sure about the rope arrows though - it really does look like you can only use them at dedicated points. We can only hope that the focus highlighting of the end of that beam was a guide to say "hey, guy who needs focus - up there, there is a way in" and not to say ONLY HERE CAN THOU USETH THINE ROPE ARROW.

What you are feeling is sense returning and froth fading.
Do you see now why its better to wait and actually see what is in the game before doing a jtrcrew?

Is there really so little joy in your life?

No, you probably shouldn't have jerked your knee so badly in the first place.

That's why the
implementation is the critical difference here. At first, when one hears that the rope arrow is in the game, there is a natural immediate positive response, owing to the
exploratory freedom in which it demonstrated in the past...So you see, if it turns out that there are only very limited prescribed points, then the usability and value of the rope arrow will be essentially diminished to a similar scope to that of the climbing gloves.

In these modern times, everyone gets three chances before we beat them up.

few good things can't save a project concept totally silly.
i still thinking bad of this game.
But since there are rope arrows and no 3rd view breaks with it i am wondering about a future possible mod or editing.
But actually this game for me is totally wrong and they need to work on it a lot to at least re-directing it to the right way.
Anyhow some of the just officially declared things cannot be fixed anymore (no pagans, no hammerites,no zombies, no burricks.. they will never come back at all and this is a pure shame since i don't like the new background, the baron&the plague, at all).

Glad to hear it! But where was that attitude when you were criticizing things? It cuts both ways.
Looking forward to seeing this new video.
