Probably done to death, but that bow is still downright ridiculous. That monologue seems oddly vain--it's as if Garrett really loves dressing up to go hunting for the right piece of jewelry. Could be an attempt at making the character seem more ambiguous/mysterious, though that might be better spent on the villain.
I get a real theatrical vibe from it. It seems to be more style than substance.

Domey, that's quite a step up in production value.
Heh, antihero, I think we know where Garrett's been "gone" to for a long time, before coming back to The City: an asylum. He was probably dreaming and hallucinating about The Cradle over and over.
Haha that's my bet... maybe his jumping off the walls and poetry couldn't get him past The Cradle, in this version I bet they found nugarrett huddled up inside mumbling to himself and sent him off to the sanitarium... where he hallucinated the rest of TDS, and hallucinated his 'return'. Maybe the whole game is a figment of his messed up mind and he's still in the asylum... or even better, it's True Garrett simply having a very bad dream. That'd be nice.

Thief on PC won't be “a copy of the console version”Eidos Montreal's Stephane Roy has said the PC version of Thief is “extremely important,” and it won't just be a port of the console version. Speaking with Strategy Informer, Roy said playing Thief with a keyboard and mouse “is different,” than playing with a controller, so it must develop the proper support. “Making the PC version
we think like a PC gamer, for consoles it's a different type of beast,” he said. “It's one of our goals to make sure that the PC version isn't just a copy of the console version.” Thief is out next year on next-gen consoles and PC.

jtr7: I think it's a usual practice in gamedev. Firstly, the game aimed on the nextgen platform is designed on PC. Then, when the game developers take a nextgen devkits, they adapt their game on the consoles. After that, someone (in this case, Nixxes) ports the game on PC.

I'm not happy with typical industry practices. It's why Thief was a revelation to me after over ten years of no longer playing new video games (or playing them as time-wasters with no real investment), and why I soon went back to not being a part of gaming culture for another ten+ years.
