They say we can ghost the whole game. I guess that means there is no boss fight.

Is defenestration an EM thing? Will we see the hero flying through windows in a hail of broken glass with every game they come out with, hahaha!
Holy Batman, Garrett!

I am pleased with the trailer visually and the narrative description. Nothing to disappoint me here but looking forward to seeing more.

You won't be able to blackjack him until you purchase the knockout sledge from the store.
It'll be 2 handed and Garrett jumps around with it like he's Cloud Strife.

A question for the folks saying maybe they couldn't get Mr. Russell because he didn't have time. How long do you think it takes to record the lines for something like this?
From my experience doing this sort of thing, I've recorded an entire character set within 8 hours. That was split into two 4 hour recording sessions. That included multiple versions of the same line, recording extras for mistakes and water / tea breaks. I recorded 4 characters for Thief 2X (three that I portrayed), and also recorded a friend of mine as a female mechanist. None of these took longer than 8 hours. Of course Mr. Russell would also have to record quite a few monologues, but even that might add an extra 3 or 4 hours. Lets be generous and give him two full work days. They wouldn't all have to be done at once, nor would he have to be flown to Montreal to do them. I'm sure Eidos has the $$$ to procure a recording space somewhere near Mr. Russell's residence...considering the money they've poured into pre-production for three years. Technology is such these days that the vocal director wouldn't even have to be in the same studio.
Being a Canadian studio, I wouldn't be surprised if they at least in part did it this way to take advantage of some Government Tax breaks. We have Provincial and Federal funding for design studios here in our province, I'm sure Quebec is the same.
Considering that this is a AAA title, that the trailer was rendered at least 2 years ago, and that EM has poured over 3 years into pre-production, there is no such thing as 'couldn't get him'. With any production, a top priority is to secure your talent. Maybe he didn't want to do it, but again...offer enough cash and I'm sure he would have. Money shouldn't be an issue for the lead character.

Don't like a lot of their games no, but I enjoyed DX:HR immensely and that was developed by Eidos Montreal.
