Apparently characterisation via hand animations is a thing they've worked hard on - and I think there's a hint of that being done quite well here.

To me, the clip is absolutely superb.
I love both the visual and audio... and they've really caught great atmosphere in that fleeting moment. Amazing.

Would have been more effective (and perhaps more inspiring) without the overly dramatic, Inception-esque crescendo. But, it is just a teaser trailer.

Really? I've always viewed Thief as the epitome of subtlely--it's about finding the shadows, not leaping out of them amid great fanfare, which is what the music expresses in the trailer.

Really. This is a teaser clip, to promote the game. In this respect, I love everything about it. Can't wait to see the entire trailer.

They've chosen to show a very low key thing for the teaser. So maybe.

Anyhow - bloody hell, years go by and all of a sudden they've brought the release date forward. By a good 12 months so. Is there time to tone down the 'woosh' that's bound to be associated with all Mr G's handy actions before Tuesday? Only time will tell.
