As you can imagine, the Dawn Engine will form the cornerstone for all Deus Ex Universe projects at Eidos-Montréal. Some of you have had concerns that “Universe” meant “MMO”. Rest assured, it does not.
Deus Ex Universe is the name we are giving to the fictional world and the rich lore we are creating for it, which will of course include core games, as well as any other projects that will help bring the world of Deus Ex to life. We won’t go into too much detail for now, but what we envision is for our projects to have meaningful ties to one another, in order for them to strengthen and deepen your experience within this Universe.
Yup, looks good! Very high detail, geometry wise. I think the only other engine I've seen that can do that much detail is iDTech5, tho that one has it's own set of problems.

Looking great. I wonder where they will take the franchise next.

I've heard they want to make it more orange.

Well I guess as long as it doesn't obscure the hexagons I'm ok with that.

I've heard some crazy rumors that this engine can also render teal.

With today's 64-bit processors, I bet they could take it all the way up to mauve.

I heard that the devs read ZB's comment and have confirmed that the engine team had creative input from Michael Bay, so it can also render at least 100% more explosions.

God dammit, ZB. Don't give them ideas.

Lesee, so DXHR came out in 2011, Deus Ex Universe was announced in 2013, and now in 2014 we have an press release about the development of their in-house engine.
So, we should see a new Deus Ex game by, what, 2020?
For being around since 2007, with two full dev teams, EM hasn't exactly been lighting it up. I wonder what all the people on the Thief team are doing these days.
