Maybe I'm being too skeptical, but based on what Obama has been saying in the general election campaign, I'm expecting a newer, more friendly face on the same foreign policy.
It's still going to take us 2 more years to get out of Iraq. We're still going to increase troop levels in Afghanistan. We're still going to be fighting al Queda (plus the Taliban in Pakistan). We're still going to have a major troop presence in Korea. We're still going to keep fighting drug trade in Latin/South America. And so on.
I think the big unknown is how Obama and our allies decide to deal with Russian imperialism. Let it go unchecked and allow Russia to recolonize much of Eastern Europe and Latin America, or rekindle the Cold War. Obama has so far been relatively quiet about Russia, but he can't remain so for long when Russia is trying to escalate it.

It was a great speech I thought and as crap as the booing was, I couldn't help but wonder how the democrat crowd would have reacted had Obama lost

There are plenty of them to reference ;)
(But yeah, I agree McCain's speech was all that a concession speech might want to be and I'm sure it's not an easy one to deliver at that. It's just a shame about the GOP who, frankly, have been a disgrace.)

Seriously, wtf is going on in NC. I know it doesn't matter and nobody else cares but it will mean a lot to me to see it go for Obama. When a race is that close do they have to do recounts or something, or might they be counting absentee ballots?

Indeed. Their acknowledgment of the election was really cold. They won't hold their punches.

Something tells me that the Russian people are in no hurry to return to the cold war. And besides the Georgian conflict (which I have a feeling isn't all that we think it is), what examples of Russian Imperialism are there? Agreed they are nothing to trifle with, but we're a lot more interdependent at the moment and I would be surprised if they would openly taunt the rest of the world by invading other former satellites.

Your shaky grasp of English?
HaHa how subtle of you to base that off of one misspelled word. Any other petite attacks? :D
God bless! Now time to see where he leads us.
