I have got this book and am just woundering if anyone has any kind of thoughts of what this book means. I have heard there is some kind of translater but I haven't seen it.
Just seeing if anyone could help me find the meaning of this book.:thumb:

Hey Steve-O, welcome to TTLG and all ;)
This has been brought up quite a few times, and the non-spoiler version is that it's for a Mage Guild quest. I'm sure if you use the "Search" function, near the top-right corner of the page, to search the "Morrowind Hints & Spoilers" forum that you'll get an answer.
Btw, this forum's meant for non-spoiler type posts, so hopefully noone's going to give a complete answer here or we'll have to move it.

I know Daedric, but Dwemer is kinda difficult. The only way I could see you translating it is using the Construction kit and looking up the Egg of Time and reading there what it has to say.

I'll try not to make it a spoiler. This book is needed for one of teh final Mages guild quests. To translate it you need to talk to some people - after you talk to all of them - the book gets translated. Try not to kill majour Telvanni wizards and Darven realted ppl if you want to pass the quest.
