I'm a damn idiot. A couple weeks ago, this little grey and white cat came wandering up to the house. The thing was obviously someones pet at some point in his life, since he wasn't afraid of people at all. The people who owned him obviously didn't want him, so, like most people around here, they dropped him off out in the woods and left him to his fate. The bastards probably abused the little guy a bit, too. Whenever I go to pet him, he tries to scootch down against the ground and acts like he's scared. He'll keep letting me pet him, and follows me around whenever I'm outside though...so hey, must not have been too traumatic.
He showed up during a big cold rain. Wet, starving, skinny as a rail. I made him a place out in the garage, gave him some food, and figured I'd nurse him back to health and give him to a nice family if he didn't run away. He's been here everyday for these last two weeks without disappearing once, so I guess he's made himself at home.
So here he is. Buddy The Cat, looking flat out scared of that big ass spider under the camellia bush.

Best way to wrestle with a cat is to stick your arm down some old jeans, and wrap the end around into your fist. That way you can happily wrestle to the cat's content without getting scratched to bits!
