It's my favourite feature too! :D

The Triggerscript system was easily my favorite feature that was added to the editor. It can sometimes be a pain to set things up the way you want, but it is very powerful if you know how to use it well. There were times where programmers were surprised with things us designers were able to make happen in the game with Triggerscripts. I'm sure you guys will have fun with it.
Yeah, even screenshots tell me much about the power of this stuff.
Scripts is one of the most powerful aspects of Dark Engine and DromEd, I hope that T3Ed is not worse.
And a question - can we have some additional and different goal types apart from the standard ones (i.e. Find 3 things, grab XXX loot, get out) with the help of this script system? Many OMs and FMs for Thief 1 & 2 are especially cool because of the variety of goals it has.

Anything you can script can be an objective from what I recall.

Yes, you can script pretty much anything for an objective. The text for the goals themselves is written manually in Conedit and you can add/complete an objective whenever you want through Triggerscript actions. Any occurance you can check for with trigger conditions (which is most anything that can happen in the game) can be set to complete a goal.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheeky:  :ebil: :thumb: :wot:
You guys surely ROCK!!!!!
But why the objectives in the original game are so repetative then?.. Oh well, too much questions for today, I see ;)

I'm so frustrated because ThiefIII doesn't work on my laptop and I'm making repairs on my better computer! Gah! MUST MAKE LEVELS!!!
Best FMs ever are the ones where you're just acting like a Thief.
Break and enter (multiple ways)
Steal some loot
Steal some BIG loot
Get out again.
Really a story just bars the way (not that it was bad - props for the Cradle, it's just I really enjoyed the first level (tutorial not included) and would love some more FMs like that)
Oh and AN ELECTRIC LIGHT SWITCH!!! I mean really. Do those lights stay on ALL THE TIME??? Somebody must want to turn them off at day-time, etc.

This is great!
Push Black Bertha's cart and run into Lord Bafford.
Follow Basso to Geneviere's kitchen.
Blow Fishkill's Burrick Stable up.
Poison your landlord.
Overhear Benny's conversation with his mother.
Heal Sinclaire's wound with your magic wand.So many possibilities! :thumb:
BTW, I wonder if it is possible to code burricks back...

You can have objectives like that in T1/2 too.
I think burricks are impossible to import without a SDK, they need new motion sets most importantly, can those be made for T3 atm?

I know. I've done them myself (including blowing stuff up). :p :)

Nice, it look pretty similar to UED, which I have some experience with.
