In the T3 editor, is it possible to undock the button panels at the left? I find that because there are so many and they have no group headers to help that it would be easier to use menus. Eg, Create > Brush > Type > etc. in plain language you don't hardly need to learn rather than ' scroll down, open up, search through to about the 3rd panel then look for a squiggly icon just next to the splodge.' And they use up valuable screen space. If I could undock them so they have a separate window, hopefully with a sensible title, then maybe hide some of them and call them up as needed? I just wish they would pop up as needed rather than take up space all the time. Just a hope...
Sorry if the above has been covered anywhere already but I have done a search without much luck.

Unfortunately not. I've been meaning to try and make them do so at some point, but for now we just have to live with it.
You can click the little arrows in the corners to collapse each box, though, which helps.

It seems that a resolution of 1280 by 1024 or above is helpful, as you can have all the buttons on screen at once.

OK thanks. Guess it will get easier when I get used to which ones are which. I'll try the high res though but my eyesight is probably not good enough for the fine text and icons.

Actually this 1280 by 1024 res looks like a reasonable compromise so I might stick with it for a while. It also reduces the WIDTH of the buttons column so it leaves more for the viewports.
