ok i know that just above this there is a install thread but it is vary unclear.
so i followed the steps and when i extracted the filles i did it like this. i had 2 windows open. i would go and add the maps folder to the content folder of my copyed thief 3 install. ( after deleting the original ) and so on. i just added the files to the folders. and its all like rename thief3 edit to thief3 and im like ok. the folder or the T3ed.exe or WTF. and i cant add a comand line in to it its BULLSHIT. i cant add editor to the original icon. maybe i dont know how but what ever. it cant find it. so im lost. and that damn thread is so fucked up i dont even know where to start looking for answers. plz help. maybe type out every click of the mouse im suppose to make or somthing cause its pissing me off bad.lol thx plz help

imj useing that thief switcher but it wont find my editor. i cant get a T3.exe to have a comand line editor. how do i do this. the shortcut says cant find

Try my tutorial, it's basically the same instructions but I tried to spell it out more clearly one little step at a time, so hopefully it will help. :)

Slash, are you trying to add the command line to a shortcut or the actual file? Your post is a little unclear about that. You need to add the line to the shortcut (right click, properties, command line). Not sure what's up with your switcher. Did you point it to the right file in the browser?
I think Komag's tut is your best bet if you haven't tried it yet. Great stuff there! :D
