I've just tried the demo, and I'v heard that there's released an editor with the game, so I wondered if there where someone in here that's tried it, or made some FM's ... :)

There is an SDK, apparently it doesn't work on WinXP. It's a modded UnrealEd (older version), the editor that is...so some basic DromEd concepts carry over (solid world, airbrushes etc.).
However, not many FMs were made, I don't think. There is only one episode of the Cassandra Project released, and I think there was perhaps one other partially successful campaign made...

As far as I remember, it works on my XP very well. Gotta check this though.

There's nothing wrong between the SDK and XP. I ran into a slight problem due to localization conflict (US SDK on French game) but apart from that, it always worked without a glitch.

Got a locale to download it from? Last time I checked the Deus Ex Machina site's donload link was broken. And that was 5 minutes ago. :erg:

It turns out I already have an account with them, and when I tried to get it to download, it wouldn't go, I got the same message it sounds like you got. I seem to remember trying to get the patch for Deus Ex from them and having the same trouble. And don't even think about it a second longer, you don't have to do any more web-site fiddling just for me. ;) It's already at the Deus Ex web-site, the link to it just needs updating. :angel:

Alright, that was just one of the reasons given by the Cassandra team about why they couldn't work on it anymore: because the editor/sdk doesn't run on modern PCs. I haven't tried it for yeeears myself.

Well after you've IMMEDIATELY ACQUIRED AND PLAYED THE GOTY VERSION, there are a few FMs, like--

Burden of 80 Proof
Hotel Carone
Redsun 2020
...just off the top of my head.
