Would it be possible to give members the ability to edit the titles of their own threads? This would have several useful applications, most notably the ability to indicate the addition of new content in a thread created for the purpose of displaying screenshots etc. (by placing the date of the most recent update in the thread title and updating this as necessary - the "new posts" icon is clearly insufficient for this purpose).

We have now enabled the user-editable thread titles. :)

Um... I tried to edit the title of this thread (with the mopgoblin on holiday account, obviously), but I couldn't figure out how to. Editing the title of the first post does not change the thread title.

hmmm.. okay try again (editing the subject of the first post).
Silly vB has most settings that you enter 0 or leave it blank for no limit, but it seems with this particular one you have to specify a number of minutes (geez!). Soooo I've set it to 1051200 minutes (two years) which should be enough I think. :)

But what if I want to change the title of a two year old thread?

Then I will eat you feet first because that way hurts for longer. :)

Thank you very much
I missed that feature.

Being eaten by GBM has always been a feature of TTLG. :ebil:

Innuendo from MsLedd is also a feature of TTLG :ebil:
