Using my newly minted Nazareth Amulet (amulet of water walking) I decided to see if there was an 'edge' to the world. Although numerous creatures talk about 'swamps' to the south and the 'mainland' I have yet to find anything but water exploring past the coastline. I have the XBox version, FYI. All it says is "Wilderness" as far as the area maps and an endless expanse of ocean. It doesn't seem to warp around and the computer DOES keep track of how far I am from Morrowind. Has anybody found anything out there????:erg:

hehe.....i started a new character last night....a breton/nightblade...and much to my excitement i found that water walking for 60s is one of my "gift" spells....
since my last character was magically, well, a dush....i never really got that interested in exploring the ocean other than (SPOILER left out)...
anyway, i just took off last night south of seyda neen and i found.......
absolutely nothing! i think its interesting that npc's tell you about such places and yet there is no possible way to get to where there saying....
for ex, someone mentions the Summerset Isle.... errr....that is completely on the opposite side of morrowind (i,e. not reachable)
but if you should happen to find something, i'm sure more people here than just the two of us would be very interested to know:D

If you played any of the other elderscrolls games... you would know a little about the history... this game has alot of background, all kinds of provinces and stuff... vvanderfel is an island inside morrowind, that was the only thing the designers put into the game... but because they wanted to keep the story in line with the history, they included some lore about the other provinces like hammerfel(redguard) and cyrodil(I think this was in arena, but im not sure) and others...
As far as this game is concerned though... there is nothing in there besides vvanderfel.

of course...your exactly right about the purpose of said 'inclusions' being in the game for the purpose of history for gamers like me who never played the other elder scrolls games...
i think more of the point that Azmartini and i were getting at is that once you've acheived "master" rank in various guilds, completed main quest, stockpiled unique items, etc......
your just sort of hoping to find that ONE last honey hole, that little easter egg, that something extra.....
as i said...i was beginning a new character....as Belvin...the redguard/warrior was way past retirement age :(
on a side note....i thoroughly enjoyed the map of morrowind that you posted in another thread...or at least i think it was your post.....

You can always try to find all the references to various other games or you can download some of the tougher usermade quests and complete them.
