Ok, in the thieves guild, big helenda will tell you to hire a mage, the mages will tell you to bring them four peices of raw ebany. i found one piece in a ruin, but i was wondering if there was an easier way to get raw ebany. is there a mine or somthing where i could find some raw ebany? my brother swears there is but i cant find it. if anybody could help me out id apprieciate it.:tsktsk:

Search for the thread "Daedric weapon of your choice..." not only will it tell you how to get a nice daedric weapon (at a very low level) but you can get around 35 - 50 portions of raw ebony from the mine described in the thread.

Or, for the more 'thiefy' and much more convient approach , the boat docked in Sadrith Mora has all four needed pieces of ebony

There is also an abandoned ebony mine very close to Balmora (NOT the one in Caldera). I found around 60 pieces of raw ebony there. This should be looked upon i think, since then you can ask the people in Balmora about that abandoned mine and they'll tell you of some people interseting in buying the mine or something... wich i haven't looked upon yet.
