Hey there, do you want to know how to get some easy money? Go to Vivec and attack on of the Ordinators (outside where they are alone is the best). Then, take the armor and his weapon. If you've specialized in medium armor, you now have a totally awesome set, it's type medium (like I said) but offers protection of 87! The money trick now comes in. Go and attack another guard and do the same thing. however this time go to Balmora afterwords. Gor to the fighters guild and sell the armor. Unfortunately, the buyer only has 2000 drakes. Don't worry, just sell the gear, and then buy his equipment so you get the value sold to a little under 2,000. Complete the sale and then wait 24 hours. After doing this, simply sell the rest of the gear, waiting as needing. It takes a lot of time and patience, but it really pays off (literally :laff: ). I went from a few hundred drakes to 81 thousand! Hey, whatever works right?

Before someone says anything... yeah, we know about farming ordinators. ;)

I tried farming those High Ordinators or whatever you want to call them. I'm not sure how to put this.. umm...
... Don't >.<

How is killing the High Guards of the city of one of the God-Kings of Morrowind legal? Seems somehow the exact opposite of legal too me. And for selling a better option is Creeper in Caldera, he has 5000 gold, and buys/sells stuff at face value.

Well... it's not my fault if I, er, accidentally find a body of a High Ordinator that has accidently died by getting stabbed through with my sword (which was accidental too, mind you.) And it's not my fault if I accidently put on the helmet and prance around, accidently shouting, "HAHA! LOOK AT ME! YOU COULDN'T HIT AN ELEPHANT!" And it's DEFINITELY not my fault they all jumped me with those big ebony scimitars.
I don't even think the mighty Tuco could win with 5 High Ordinators against him. But I'm planning on murdering the Her Hand guards...

Interesting tactics, but they're not for me. My character has about 27k simply from his adventures and from selling specific pieces to shopkeepers. I also have a vast fortune in rare weapons, armor and items, but have no plans to sell them. Or wear them, for that matter. In my experience anyway, you don't really ever need more than 10,000. With perhaps a handful of exceptions, there aren't really any half-decent pieces of equipment for sale in stores, you have to go and find the good stuff. The only real use for anything more than that is Enchanting, which is so expensive that it's only worth if you really are literally a millionaire.

I don't think anyone could take on 5 High Ordinators without death or serious injury, unless you either cheated or played the game for several months non-stop and exploited every single damn bug in the whole game to outrageous lengths. Then again, my best character is only Level 45, and not particularly well-armed or enchanted. Some of his spells are sufficiently powerful to destroy even gods in a matter of seconds, but he would easily be overwhelmed by a group of High Ordinators.
But the Hands of Almalexia. Aren't they supposed to be the best of the best of the High Ordinators. Higher levels, better stats, better skills, and every single weapon and piece of armor magically fortified to the extreme with Godly Goodness? How could you take them if you couldn't take ordinary High Ordinators? I suppose with Chameleon, maybe...

Where can you find these High Ordinators...... My mage needs a new challenge.

They're in Mournhold. You need Tribunal.
Yes, I am Exile.
No, I wasn't banned.

*grins* Ahem. Yeah. If I'm taking on the Her Hand Guards, I'm playing dirty. 100% chameleon for the whole battle... It won't do much though, it'd just help with a surprise attack. I hate those people that can still attack you even if you're invisible. Meh... I'm gonna have to say goodbye to all my precious strength points I got from Corprus...
As soon as I reach level 100 I'll tell you how many I managed to wipe out. I'm level 56 right now ^.^

Originally posted by Z I don't think anyone could take on 5 High Ordinators without death or serious injuryTried it, worked like a charm. My formula: Nord (with default 100% frost resistance) + Exquisite Ring enchanted with "100 points Frost Damage for 3 seconds in 45 feet." Stand in the middle of ordinators. Aim at own feet. Fire until the ring runs out of energy.
No sweat.
I'll have to try it with all the Her Hands at once later.
