Compiled from several threads of other forum:
- NPC named Hermit, hidden below Neutrals base in Agroprom, sells upgraded weapons and grenade launcher.
- At Dutiers base, music from another game of GSC, Cossacks, is playing.
- You can find and pick up a guitar at a camp-fire in a building at Dutiers base.
- Folder fx of gamedata archive includes row of pictures for animation, like the animation with running stalker you could see on TV in SoC. Here is a frame - (

- Game includes 14038 sound files many of which aren't used in the game at all.
- In the Swamp, there is a ruined railway bridge. There is a small dug-out where you'll find the best detector in the game (Veles), it's under mattress, and detectable with it high-grade artifact.

How to get there - (

- In the same location, but near railway carriages, you'll find a Vintorez laying in the grass. It's the same place that is shown in the intro movie.
- Corpse of Father Valerian (head of Loners) can be found in Red Forest at the tank and teleportation anomaly (

- Lots of sniper ammo is in the stash on a tree at the wall of Loners base in Agroprom. It's near former entrance to Agroprom undergrounds. Hard to get.
- In the house Scar appears in the start of the game, there is a document on a table which reads in Russian: "Average temperature of deceased in hospital" :)
- From this place in the Swamps (it's near ruined railway bridge, see above how to get there) you can teleport right to Limanks - (

-Only one instance of artifact Compass has been found in the game so far.
-In the room where Nimble is sitting (In the CS base) there is a map on the wall that has all the anomoly fields in the swamp marked on it, and by extention, the location of all the artifacts (Barring the Jellyfish).
-Maps with locations of artifacts and flash cards, text is in Russian though.

I found the Vintorez in the swamps, I didn't think the devs would put such a powerful weapon in the first map, but they got around that by dropping the contition to the lowest level. It costs 9600 roubles to get it fixed and there's little to no ammo for it for quite a while.
Unlike SoC there are dozens of the things strewn through out the zone, so it's not worth repairing it because by the time ammo becomes commonly available for it you'll have found one in better condition.
The Veles on the other hand, now that's a nice bonus. I didn't realise until the other day that the higher value artifacts required better detectors to find.

The bandit base in the red forest has a basement. It's got three poltergeists down there, but it also has a standalone grenade launcher.
Has anyone found a G36 before the point of no return yet? I've heard people claiming they found one in the military bases in a stash, but the game's files show nothing there.

Yep, same here. And I think the reach also depends on detector type.

In the room where trader of bandits does his business is a grate that becomes unlocked after bandits base is captured, or after you join bandits. Inside you'll find 2 artifacts: Night Star and Moonshine.

I've found an FT 200M before Limansk, but I've yet to see a G36. You have to do a quest to retrieve a Flame artifact for someone in the Army Warehouses and you get it as a reward
Bit disappointing, actually. I got it after I fully upgraded a Tunder (Groza) and it wasn't as good nor could anyone upgrade it.

You can get the sniper ammo stash in agroprom by dropping from the roof of the nearest building onto the pipe and jumping from it to the tree. I love how this game(and SoC) rewards you for the type of exploration that is useless in any other game(except for, well, thief). Still annoys me that you can't search stashes without having information about them first, though. "Hey, let's fuck guys who actually explore the zone and reward guys who follow a marker on the map!!"
Also, Compass broke my heart:(

Yep, I almost was ready to give up and thought it was a bug - just couldn't locate the container from the pipe.
