I have completed all the other stone quests. But even though I have gone to the Cave of Sounds?? and found the pipes that make the sound and found that I can make the stalagmites make sound as same as the stalactites and even tried duplicating the rythym of the upper stones, nothing happens when I go back to the Earthstone. Am I missing something really obvious or is this a glitch?
Suggestions are welcome. I am getting frustrated.

You need to duplicate the sounds' patterns twice; have you done so?

OK. I confess I have a tin ear. I went back to the cave. Listened carefully to several iterations of the sounds and then duplicated them. It worked I am in the right track again. Thanks again, Forsythe, for the help.
