Oh, it's a good game. If Silent Hill and Resident Evil were cars that crashed into each other on a highway and the resulting explosion of wires and and meat gained a shambling, pus-filled sort of sentience, TEW is what you'd get. Not quite as good as a classic RE, but good enough that you won't be too bothered by that.

No TEW2, fuck. The only thing from Bethesda conference I was really interested in. Bad era for surhors.

Also, is the time travel ability cool or what? It's like exploring two worlds at the same time. I hope it's not just a gimmick. There's probably going to be a section where you have to hide something in the past to recover it in the future.
Yup, (

And no, I'm not saying they lifted the idea from us, pretty low chance of that. I'm just really excited for the chance to see a similar idea done right in a sequel to one of my favourite game.

It certainly seems a lot spookier than the last couple games. Will be interesting to see if they cross the line into the supernatural like the early RE4 videos hinted it might do.
Don't have a PS so I guess I'll be scouring youtube tomorrow.

IMO, it has some True Detective / American Horror Story vibe, might be interesting to see whether they finally learned their lesson and made actual horror game.

I've been a bit under the weather for the past couple days so I haven't really looked at all the new shiny things, and scrolling through the headlines on Polygon and RPS just now I'm a bit afraid to even start looking at the trailers and gameplay videos. Feel like I might overdose on all this pure, uncut E3 HYPE if I look at it too fast. Need to take it slow, pace it out over the coming week. Make it last.

Spoiler: nothing really stands out. Except for that random gameplay trailer that showed spaceship space dogfighting and a seamless switch to first person space shooting that turned out to be motherfucking Call of Duty. I feel a little dirty acknowledging this, but it really did look like something I want to play.
Apart from that you get reboots, some new IP that may or may not rehash old ideas in interesting ways, and sequels. The hardware announcements were interesting, but we can philosophise on them later.
Also, there was a weird as fuck Kojima game announcement with a naked Norman Reedus and a disappearing baby. Bit early in the day for it, ne, Kojima-san?

What about Days Gone, the post-apoc zombie game? It looks like it might be the open world motorbike game I've been waiting for since Motocross Madness 2. Or Steep, Ubisofts wingsuit/snowboarding/skiing game? I've been hoping for a cool wingsuit game with AAA-production since playing the Volo Airsport demo years ago, and this one might have cool snowboarding as well, which is something I've been wanting since Supreme Snowboarding, and yes I've played Amped and SSX and SNOW but nothing has quite scratched that itch. Or what about Grow Up, or Overland, or The Last Guardian? Or all the VR stuff? Or the XBONE/WIN10 SCLUSIES? Or what about the 10's of minutes of Watch Dogs 2 footage which is apparently out there just waiting for my eyeballs to gaze upon it?
My HYPE LEVEL is at 10/10 right now and I haven't even seen the trailers for most of these things. Need to sit down and cool off.
