So a while ago I had played all the Deus Ex mods I though were out there; except for one: the DXO Prologue. The review said it was German but I thought "Aw, what the hell. I'll try it!" Turns out the campaign being completely in German is a problem. I like the way the missions look and have have had a great deal of fun with them, (*Cough* *Ahem*) but I have no idea what people are saying or what I'm supposed to do. All that I've managed to figured out is that the campaign has something to do with the Nazis and WWII. However don't get me wrong. The missions are great and their creative reuse of original DX stuff surprises me to no end. Still, not knowing the basic plot line (since I know only a word here and there) continues to get in my way. Can somebody whose played and understands the missions explain the plotline of each individual mission as well the overall premise? :wot:

If you could point me to a download location, I might be able to help you.

Sure! The site is Deusexzone.info and the mission is DXO:PROLOGUE

I spent the last days trying to get the mod to work, but it crashes whenever I take significant damage.
What I could find out so far:
[spoiler]
The whole mod is the prequel to the story of Deus Ex Online, which was planned to be a MMORPG based on the Deus Ex Online.
You play "Heinrich", who is a prisoner in a German bunker where the Nazis experiment with genetic engineering. In the first mission, your objective is to escape from the laboratory.
BTW, did you find a way to get out of the lab without taking much damage? Perhaps I could get a bit further if I wouldn't get damaged so much.

Wow! So you're still alive. :joke: Just kidding. The crashing happened to me too. I tried extracting all the files to the different folders (system, text, whatever) and I haven't been having any problems with the crashing.
