Yep, those are both in-game! In terms of the lighting and shadows, those screenshots are from a much older build and things have already changed in terms of the tech. The team is making a lot of changes to the TRU engine and the style is being refined all the time. But those are good start, and I can't wait for people to see outdoor areas. :D
Thanks for the confirmation! Since we're touching on the subject, would TRU's system requirements, with allowance for the timespan between releases, be somewhat of a decent guideline to expectations we should form about DX3's reqs? Or is it to early to tell? And hey, if you you're really that anxious for us to see some outdoors areas, feel free to throw something our way, I'm sure we won't mind. ;)

Do we
really need to say that in every single DX3 thread, even the graphics ones?
Dude, no offense, really, but... obvious troll is

AHahaha no.
(I imported the U9 Dragon Edition from the USA - boy, was
that the best money I ever spent or what?)
Well yes, but you gotta feel really strongly about it. Because its been discussed before but Thief 3/ DE:IW in my books were just shy of being brilliant. And I just don't wanna get hurt again....

For sure they'll be a good baseline but improvements are being made so it is too early to tell for certain.

I wish, I wish!
Edit: Everyone's seen the (
http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=80886) images here, right? There's a good mix of in-game and concept arts, the concept art showing some outdoor areas.

Heh, was worth a try! As for the reqs, naturally, we all expect that an increase in eyecandy will bring with it a certain increase in required specs, but it's good to know that TRU's could give some vague baseline expectations, thanks.

This is going to be a very orange game, isn't it?
