*cries*
Have you seen those screenshots? I WANT IT!!!
Incidentally, don't you think the AR has a SS2 look? (scope not included)
Greatest news of all:

Ion Storm is working towards 30fps running on a minimum spec PC of around a Pentium III 850 and GeForce 3-level graphics card. An explosion in a room will cause the light fittings to sway, changing shadows in real-time.
That made my day.

Ah, looking nice indeed. I don't like the HUD, though. Hopefully they simplify its graphics a bit. :erg:
Anyway, it seems that the best thing in this game will be its replay value. This new biomod system, as well as the weapon modifications, will allow a lot of diversity in character building. :thumb:

Well, the HUD actually looks nice to me (mostly because it's so unusual), but I do wonder if it'll be practical... In Ion Storm we trust ;)

I'm just glad they're working towards achieving a consistent framerate - Deus Ex was horrible on my PC in some places. Nice to see a (relatively) achievable minimum system as well.
Lookin' good though. :D

I agree that the HUD is a little too "busy" and takes up too much of the screen. It's cool that they're trying to make it look like a cyber-enhanced human would see, like having a computer implanted in your retina. The boxy menus in Deus Ex 1 didn't do much to give me the feeling that I was cyber-enhanced.

Coming from ISA's forums, I can tell you that ISA reduced the size of the item in the hud by 50%, pushed it more towards the screen edge, made it more transparant (put in "membrane shaders" :o), and still think that it takes up too much of the screen.
So I think I can guarnatee it will be far less intrusive and more streamlined in the final verion. ;)

I think the HUD looks pretty cool now - in fact I've got it set as my background.
