I really like the music in the main menu of the demo... I'm sure that'll be the music in the final game too. I like the similarity to the previous game's theme especially.
Anyone know of a way to get it extracted out or something? would like to listen to it in winamp.

The music is a more techno and choral version, though sung in a minor key, adding to a more sad version. (What is it with Deus Ex 2 and Thief III?)

What do you mean about Thief 3? has there been music from that leaked? what did you mean?
Anyway, I got ahold of the music now... it's this .ogg format, which I wish was .mp3 instead but, point is I am listening to it as I type.
I really like it, I like the part with the lady singing. I like the sad feeling to it. A lot.

Further to that, if you follow the link from the thread at the above page back to the Ion Storm forums, there are links in the first page of *that* thread to download the Main Menu and Credits music in .mp3 format. If anyone's interested.

If you recall from the trailer to Thief III, there was a more melancholy score than the usual fuzz-punk-techno opening. Both Deus Ex 2 and Thief III have sadder editions of music than their predecessors.

strangely enough in parts, I was wondering if I was playing Anachronox, some of the ambience had the Anachronox flavor to it.
It was a warm fuzzy feeling. nicely done.
