I am trying DX2, and I am having problems with the inventory. It makes DX1's look super roomy.
In screenshots I've seen people having 11 multitools in one slot, but for some reason they split up for me. I can only fit 3 of them in one slot. Is this how it is meant to work?

The maximum multitools for a slot is normally 10, IIRC. Inexplicably, however, there are two indistinguishable types of multi-tools that don't stack with each other.

There are also double multi-tools, identifiable by their frob-box, which do nothing more than increase your total number of multi-tools by ... wait for it ... two.

the max allocation for stacking them is 20. They are glitchy in v. 1.2, though. That's why some of them 'split' into a second slot.

Huh. So there are actually different kinds of multitools which look exactly the same?
I remember finding a giant pile of multitools (like a dozen or so) on the roof of the apartment building in Seattle, and then finding (to my extreme annoyance) that they would not stack with any of the other ones I found after that. I just thought it was some bug in the game.

This is a bug.
