..well at least up until about 1/2 though [that ending place]. Takes some liberties with canon, but I've just spent the past few hours reading it, and I've liked it quite a bit. Give it a shot! :thumb:

Fan-fiction does not count as "novelization".

I stopped reading, and started wishing terminal illness on the writer, at this point:
Quote Posted by Second Paragraph, First sentence
"You're apointment to FEMA should be finnalized within the week...
How about everyone else? :D

Well, I had to see if he'd taken the GEP gun, the crossbow, or the sniper rifle. I mean, c'mon.

Unfortunately, it seems his "personal contribution" has been to add a love story according to Chapter 44 (When I skipped ahead) :
Quote:
V sighed, "You make it sound too easy." She showed him the numerous places where she had been shot, JC and MJ-12 inflicted. JC felt a slight pang of regret as he remembered the time, not more than a week ago, when they had been enemies. "Politics" had brought her over to the "good" side, which served as a factor in their relationship. Could such politics make her his enemy again just as quickly?
No, JC instantly thought, We love each other. It's different now. Conspiracy or no.
Love. Ever since he'd graduated from the academy, JC hadn't even spared such things a single thought. There had been a girl in the academy that he'd liked, but he had never worked up the nerve to ask her out, and the academy itself obstructed social interaction. UNATCO, of course, couldn't condone relationships. Now that he thought about it, if he had acted on his feelings, MJ-12 would have quickly terminated the relationship. Through any means possible. This, however, was something they could only touch through bullets. Erica--V could look out for herself, but he swore that he would die before he let anything happen to her.
Heh, at least his spelling and grammer get better later on, even if the story goes downhill ... ;)

Maybe it's slipping my mind, but who the hell is "V" anyway?
I don't know about anyone else, but I always thought that if JC had any opportunity for romance in the game, it would've been with Sandra.

There's a difference between romance and a booty call! :cheeky:

"We've had to endure much, you and I, but soon there will be order again: A new age. Aquinas spoke of the mythical City on the Hill, soon that city will be a reallity and we will be crowned it's kings."
The man in white thought about this, and decided to correct himself.
"Or better then kings. Gods."
... not working for me :erg:
