Anyway, isn't this another contender for the oft-empty DX:IW forum, also...that last video sucked ass, but I hold out hopes for the gameplay and story. Not the distorted cartoony graphics and donkey-sucking animations.

I probably looked forward to DX more than I look forward to DX:IW now :) Played thru the demo LOTS of times. And then they released the "demo expansion" and played thru that one LOTS of times aswell. Then I finally got hold of the full game :)

What I'm suprised they aren't worried about is the amount of damage that it could do to their sales - of the 4 DX fans who I know, 1 is planning on waiting, 1 is planning on importing (meh) and two are planning to download it and probably buy it when it comes over. And then, how many people who aren't dx obsessives would bother actually buying it when they had a dubious copy? Releasing at the same time worldwide would seem to be one of the better ways of preventing casual piracy that I can think of. Also, not getting the european version done and dusted before christmas would be rather painful, I would think.
I still don't see why it takes them two months to print off the boxes without the annoying american market tagline :p

Hint: amazon as well as various other "true gaming stores" offer import versions of games. My preorder for the US version is already placed. :>
