If what you've heard is true, then that alone would give me reason to buy the DC, dethy.

I can't believe you guys would buy that shit for 30 bucks. I'll just watch it on youtube for free. I already own the DLC, so I can't see shelling out cash for this.

Maybe because it does a lot of things I wish the original version of the game did?
Seriously, you're starting to sound like me. Settle down.

If I didn't already have the DLC, I'd buy this. The opportunity to play again with an extra mission and extra weapons and revamped boss fights would be worth $30 to me. But since I already sprung for the DLC, I'll wait and maybe buy this if it's discounted.

I don't know why people say this like it's a substitute for playing.

It's only $20. Still, if there's no new content beyond retooled boss fights, I have no reason to buy it.

You'll be able to upgrade to the Directors Cut Edition on PC if you own the main game and/or have the DLC.
"New purchase (if you don't already have the game): £12.99/€19.99/$19.99
Own the basic game (with no DLC): £6.99/€7.99/$9.99
Own the game and Missing Link DLC: £3.49/€3.99/$4.99"

Should make it a little easier on peoples wallets if you already own all of it.

Nice.
Also, in addition to the new boss fight options, they've also worked Missing Link and Tong's Rescue Mission into the plot, so they're part of the story rather than just extra little side things.

Well that's good news. I wasn't expecting them to do a CD Projekt Red and release a super patch, but I wasn't expecting them to be so accomodating. £3.49 seems a fairly reasonable sum for a revamped version.

Tong's rescue mission was always part of the main game because it was a day one DLC (exclusive to Gamestop pre-orders.) Missing Link wasn't because it brought engine upgrades.
Happy now, Brethren?

Having to spend only 5 bucks instead of 30? You betcha - who wouldn't be? And my point is essentially proved in the process.
