How do you know it's even delayed? They never announced a release date, which is driving me mad.

If only... That would be so worth a re-buy

The news on a new Deus Ex game is good, but this "Director's Cut" is a little hard to figure out. I can't see any reason to buy the DC if you already own the game on PC, especially at the price point of $30. The DLC they're including can be had on Steam separately for 9 bucks. So, what, just for overhauled boss fights? Sorry, find another sucker for that one. They've been incredibly vague on what else the DC includes, aside from all the 2nd screen nonsense. There was talk of enhanced visuals, but the trailer looks exactly the same as the regular game. The marketing on this thing is kind of weird, with them so focused on the 2nd screen experience. Are people really that interested in this type of thing? Would you really re-buy and replay the entire game just so you could use your handheld along with it? It all seems kind of weird. And it's so Wii U focused, yet the Wii U has sold for shit. Perplexing that they've put 18 months of effort working on this thing. But who knows, maybe more will be revealed later, as the release date approaches.
And it's a bit silly to call it a "Director's Cut," it doesn't seem that the story has been changed at all - it should be more of an Enhanced Edition or Special Edition. But fancy names sell games I guess.

Those boss fights were bullshit and I still have yet to play the DLC because I hated that it was separate. I'm pretty much an insta-buy on this. Where'd you hear the price point, though?

The Missing Link DLC was actually pretty good, but making it stand-alone was super dumb. I'd be interested to see how they handle resetting your augs and ditching your gear, though. If you have to start from scratch 4/5ths of the way through the game then it does kinda discourage you from building up your character and souping up your weapons.

Actually, upon closer inspection, the PS3 and 360 versions are $30, while the Wii U version is $50. Interesting, so maybe by that logic, the PC version will be like...$20?
And I think I'd want to read up on these supposed fixed boss fights after the game is released before automatically buying the thing for 30 bucks. Sounds kind of like bullshit to me.

From what I've heard the boss arenas specifically have new elements geared towards tech builds that allow the player to reach victory condition without having to engage in a straight fight.
