Director's Cut walkthrough vid. Skip to 4:22 for relevant info (first half of the vide is on WiiU second screen features, which are also available via PS3 remote play and Xbox SmartGlass).

This sounds like a pretty superficial fix to me. It doesn't seem to change the fact that these bosses are very cartoonish characters which clash with the world and are never developed in the slightest, or that you can't deal with them nonlethally. It doesn't seem to change the fact that the ending sequence is a giant failure a gameplay and story level, which is why I haven't replayed the game.

They seem to have put the bulk of their effort into the Wii U gamepad interface, which is probably why it was Wii exclusive at first. If you already played the original and the DLC, it doesn't seem worth buying. Maybe if you didn't purchase the DLC before and want to play again, you'll get this instead? Whatever the reason, it seems there is still enough interest in the game to be worth a re-release on the X360/PS3/PC.

I'm in it for the redone boss fights and integrated DLC. Those alone are worth the price of admission, even if Steam owners don't get a discount.

I never fired a bullet outside of the scene where you're trying to save a particular friend of yours...in the entire game. It's true that Adam will kill the boss characters in a cutscene anyway, but from a gameplay perspective the easiest way to deal with them was non-lethally.
Actually, from that footage, my biggest complaint would be that the 'redone boss fights' seem to take something that took about 10 seconds to beat on 'give me deus ex' difficulty and adds a layer that seems pointless if you have the stun gun and 15 rounds of ammo for it.

I think they wanted to give you a way of beating them without using (your own at least) weapons?

Will it affect the storyline if you deal with bosses in a non-lethal way?

Maybe they're delaying this because they're adding a Montreal or Upper Hengsha hub. Now THAT would be worth the money.
