Doesn't take much for you to feel ill then...
Seriously, I understand that people would want those improvements in the version of the game they bought, and yes, it'd be great if they were provided to users in a patch - but I don't understand the sense of being entitled to these improvements that you find in so many comments threads.

Were you dropped on your head as a baby or something? What part of that makes you think that I feel "entitled," FFS?
I'm decrying what I consider to be a minor tragedy (weeee, melodrama!), as it pertains to the topic of this forum (something one would assume we're all here for), and I am entitled to that opinion. What an utterly ludicrous decision for them to revise a fantastic game with legions of fans (go ahead, argue "legions," see how I ignore you) and not only avoid PC editions, but release it as an exclusive for the least-popular console of all.
Simply put, unless you're a Wii "enthusiast," it freaking sucks, and is just as "bitch-worthy" as EM not using Stephen Russell or EA not going out of business.

Isn't it more than just "improvements"? The list I saw includes things that wouldn't come in a patch. The name "Director's Cut" implies a lot more, and in fact, is a lot more in this case.

From a business point of view it makes perfect sense: additional content, label "Director's Cut" and so on, it's all necessary for a release of an almost 2 years old game on a new platform. How real these improvements are it's all to be seen.
On the other hand they cannot be so blind to not see that the PC audience would love to have those improvments as well. But again, business is business and they surely have been paid for this exclusive, and if the rumours of financial difficulties are true, it explains why they won't give a **** about people who already bought the other versions. We are the "saturated" part of the market. And they would not give a damn anyway, so...
This is not LGS nor Ion Storm. This is EM/Square Enix and they are here for the fucking money.

And that is why it's bad business. Although, knowing how consumers tend to be, and how businesses like maintaining that culture, I half expect them to release a version for other platforms later, and cash in on all the people buying it gasping, "Finally! Someone musta knocked some sense into 'em! We matter too much!"

Well it's little lame that the new DE:HR will have these improvements only on wii u. I've bought the game and played it on my xbox 360 console, so for me (as I can't instal any mods or tweaks) it's sad to hear that. It's a good game, but it's not consistent, especially when you try to do a no killing playthrough, and AJ is killing the bosses in blink of an eye.
