Been a while sinced I fired up DX and with summer coming up (and finally some spare time:thumb: ), thought I'd inquire about the DX Coop Mod. Anyone have any experience/played it/have a comment on it?

Drag. I certainly love Co-Op games. I never got around to trying the mod myself. I went after it one day, but then I found out that it hadn't even progressed to the point of playability in the SP campaign. Rather boring with one map, so I didn't bother, admittedly.

Damn.
Well, guess this is the end of dreams of DX coop. With DX2 under development, guess it's not too surprising that the DX coop community (and the entire DX community for that matter) is going rather downhill.
I guess it's soon farewell to the BEST game I've ever played...

I spoke to Geordie a couple of weeks back. He has fixed the majority of the bugs in the current release (stuff relocking, random inventory, etc), but hasn't worked on the mod for a while. Depending on which method of changing maps they used, it would either drop all the players (bad) or lose the state of each area as you left it (bad for missions spread over multiple maps).
Their plan is to rework the maps into standalone missions all based in one area. Liberty Island is practically done, Cathedral is 50% and they want one more for a release.
However, I got the impression that there wasn't much enthusiam left for the project, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
